If we are fishing the Winnebago system, ultimately we will be after walleyes. However, besides walleyes you may catch freshwater drum, catfish, small mouth bass, whitebass, a wayward perch or even a sturgeon! Captain Kirk loves to have the rod bending and kids will love the action freshwater drum can provide all summer on Lake Winnebago.
Captain Kirk only guides in Wisconsin on some very popular waters located in the north central part of the state. The Fox River in De Pere and the Wolf River near Fremont are spring and fall options. Then summer time is a great time for Lake Winnebago. Green Bay tributary rivers are also some options. And maybe even bass fishing on some smaller lakes in the area.
